Getting moving

ladymalki added an entry about lose weight : Well, I started the da writing in here that had to start doing something for me and my daughter. Believe it or not, I actually did. I got my daughter to spend an hour on the wii fit. (Hey don’t laugh, at least she was up and moving) About an hour later, I popped in the old “Richard Simmons Sweat’in to the Oldies” tape and my daughter was right by my side. It was so much fun to do this again after all these years. Best of all, my daughter actually enjoyed it. She said that it was easier to follow than most if the other tapes I have tried to ge her to do with me, and she would be willing to do it again tomorrow. I’m so happy!!! As for me, after dinner I got on the wii fit and did 15 minutes of step- and 15 minutes of running. I’m also working on my yoga poses and boy can I feel the burn on those sometimes. Dinner was very sensible also. We had fresh steamed broccoli, cucumber salad and baked chicken with rotisserie spice on it. Everyone ate well and it really was a healthy meal. Not bad for someone who just started something today on a whim.
