Day 10 The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly...

minxycat added an entry about lose weight : B: 1/2 cup yogurt L: 2 or 3 enchiladas, rice and beans, pork tamale, tortilla chips :-) Okay, it was Teacher Appreciation Day at work, and I knew this was coming… My day went like this: A.M. feeling GOOD weigh in at 139. Yesterday had been a great day. So I decide to wear some cords I haven’t worn for awhile due to not being able to breathe or walk in them. Happy proud. Their a little snug but not totally shameless. Well time for the big teacher lunch, catered by Jarra’s Mexican Market. This was a planned pig out I decided a few days ago I’d let myself indulge for this special day. So I eat rice, beans, chips, two enchiladas, BAD . Still had another enchilada and a pork tamale on the plate. Save it for afternoon snack. Eat “snack” after school in front of my children, who wanted some too, but I said “no honey you won’t like it-it’s too hot” UGLY . cords so tight they hurt. can barely walk. can’t wait to get home and put on jammies. Hey, here are 3 good things… Gene said I look skinny (husband and friend said she’ll stop at nothing to kiss my ass) I passed on all the desserts, and best of all I’m back on “the program” after my controlled binge. Tomorrow morning the union will have coffee and pastries for us. I’m not having any treats tomorrow. I truly believe if you let yourself indulge at every special event, you’ll never reach your goal weight. You have to really think ahead and plan the occasional binge. O.k. so one binge and I’m back on it… Happy, healthy, controlled eating!!
