Well the routine kinda went out the window..........but still, a pretty good day.

NHidalgo4 added an entry about lose weight : Well I didnt have to be in work till 8:30 so I slept till 7:47, I am the master of fast dressing! At work I ate my last slice of pizza and a yogurt. Then those bastards upstairs ordered all this food and nothing looked appitizing, except for the cookies. I didn’t even have a sweet tooth till after I quit smoking. Anywho, I ate 4 of them and then had soup for dinner. I put it all in on fitday and it was only a little over 1400 calories, which isnt too bad….. at least for me.

nycsoon added an entry about lose weight : This is going very well. Unfortunately, my boobs are getting tinier by the day, and my calves remain well, fat. I seem to lose weight in all the wrong places as my hip bones are beginning to jut out yet my arms are very sturdy. I eat far more vegetables than I did 2 weeks ago. I also exercise much more. One day last week I walked over 100 blocks in Portland, I’m fabulous.

Stuffed Zucchini Flowers Over Spaghetti - Feast Your Eyes

Filed under: Feast Your Eyes Photo: Stef Noble, Flickr For gardeners like me, the sight of zucchini blossoms on the vine is like having the official flag of summer unfurled. It's still March, but this photo of Stef Noble 's pasta with zucchini blossoms stuffed with mozzarella and escarole, is making me yearn for squash season. Zucchini blossoms are delicious on their own, dipped in a batter of flour, club soda and salt, then deep-fried for a minute or two, until golden brown (a Gourmet recipe ). And, like Stef, I love to stuff them -- with goat cheese or with a combo of prosciutto , chopped zucchini, garlic and chives. When you have a chance to pick the blossoms from a garden, choose male blossoms (with the long, straight stamens), which serve only to pollinate the female blossoms (which bear the actual vegetables). That way you'll preserve the pleasure of eating both the flowers and full-grown squash. Become a member of the Slashfood Flickr pool to get a shot of having your photos featured in Feast Your Eyes.
