I’m not exactly dreading it but I’m not exactly swinging from the chandelier either. I’m more curious than anything. I know I’ll be starting from scratch again. I just wonder how weak I’ve gotten after not exercising for 5 months. I’ve been getting so tired lately that some days I can barely function. I know exercise will give me the energy I need. So instead of bitching about how exhausted I am, I’m just going to do what I know I need to do.

Today I did 40 minutes of jump rope, 45 minutes of cardio, and 30 minutes of stretching. I ate 2200 calories, including 3 creamsicles and 3 slices of pizza. If I just moderate my diet, the working out will start to actually pay off. :)

Mayo Clinic endocrinologist James Levine, M.D., Ph.D., has continued his research in environment-changing innovations with a six-month study of a real-life office that was re-engineered to increase daily physical activity or NEAT (non-exercise activity thermogenesis). The study began in late 2007 and ended in 2008 at SALO, LLC, a Minneapolis-based financial staffing firm. Of the 45 employee volunteers involved in the scientific study, 18 were studied for weight loss and other changes.

piscsmoon added an entry about lose weight : did my bi-weekly weigh in just now… not only did i not lose anything. i actually i gained a pound. what the hell? i’m so mad. i just went of my diet a couple of times, and skipped the gym a couple of days. the rest of the time i was completely sticking to to diet and going to the gym. the two weeks before this, and i lost 4 lbs. now, nothing… i’m just going to keep on working at this and be even stricter. soooo frusterated, though.

rgioc added an entry about lose weight : My legs are still killing me from all that walking yesterday. I know shopping hurts the credit card but they didn’t say it would hurt your calf muscles and your hip bones. I think I’ve grinded some of the bone away, lol. I must have walked for 4 hours yesterday, because I left the house at around 11.30am and got home for 3.50pm and all I did was walk round the shops buying stuff and walk home. Its good though, I feel stronger for it. I’m not gonna be walking today. I’m going to do my Natalie Cassidy workout dvd instead. Maybe only a section though and I need to organise my mum’s bedroom before I go out tonight. I’m going dancing! Yay! That will burn off some energy, lack of more like! I had 2 weetabix with soya milk for breakfast today. I forgot to mention last night, I snacked quite a bit after my tea. I had some strawberries and a chocolate mousse. Oh well, the shocking thing is I’m not even that bothered. Lol. Because I did all the walking. I am going to chill out today too because I don’t want to have no energy for tonight. B- Scrambled eggs & 2 x toast L- 1/2 chicken roll & bottle of water S- Crisps 80cals, Choclate brownie 89cals D- 1 and a half pieces of fish, a few oven chips S- Appe, yogurt, 2 crackers with cheese, a few bits of cereal. See HORRIBLE !!!! I’m planning out tomorrow so hopefully I’ll stick to it. B- Apple & yogurt & orange juice S at work- Fruit scone, bottle water L- Cup of soup & banana D- Cereal & apple juice S- Apple, cup of soup
