Look up at a fast-food menu board and shed a pound? It may sound too good to be true, but according to a paper released today by the University of California's Center for Weight and Health, new research shows that California adults could avoid gaining 2.7 pounds a year if calories were posted on fast-food menu boards statewide. The analysis combines findings from two key sources to understand how calories posted on fast-food menu boards could shape the health of California.

I stayed with my family/relatives and the meals we ate were very basic compared to what we come up with at home. Spaghetti bolognese, potatoes, carrots and peas, “risi bisi” – nothing complicated. Less meat, too. It makes me realized how spoiled I am, in spite of a limited budget, and how much time – too much time – I usually devote to shopping, cooking and eating.
Chocolunatic added an entry about lose weight : To date I have lost 2Kg since I started my 100 days mission of losing 20kg. So 18kg to go =D Drinking lots of water helps and the support here in 43T is definetely another reason. I have never stuck to a diet for more than 3 days!! So, this is definetely a change =D
charlotte1984 added an entry about lose weight : Im mad cos my boyf was at work today so jokingly he said I should bake him a cake. So I spent ages baking brownies for him. And he came home for 5 mins didn’t even say thank you and has now gone back out for the night (without asking me if I’d like to go too I hasten to add) So I’ve been at home alone since 8am and I will be going to bed alone too since he wont be back till at least midnight. And there is a big batch of homemade, gooey, chocolaty brownies in the kitchen screaming at me to be eaten. So I have to be here, alone, and try not to eat any of them at all!
Just_10more_lbs added an entry about lose weight : Ok so I am starting The lemonade diet tomorrow its a 10 day diet/fast its meant to cleanse your system and help your digestive system. I have been so unhealthy lately that I need it not to mention it melts fat off fast. the last time I was on it I lasted 3 days and lost 6lbs it didn’t come back either until I started eating fatty foods. I am going to do this diet for 14 days is there anyone who wants to join me? we can be support for each other!!! if you want more info on the diet you can google it :-)
Just_10more_lbs added an entry about lose weight : I forgot to mention that im doing this as a jump start to dieting I need to lose 20lbs so im going to clense my body then start eating healthy and working out. the clense is suposed to help you lose more weight when you diet. Im excited!!!

Heather added an entry about lose weight : I have had 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and 1/2 a cup of Yoo-Hoo for breakfast. Then I had a bowl of Raisin Bran Crunch for lunch. I am starting to get a little hungry so I am going to have a little broccoli for a snack. Then I am having spaghetti for dinner. I haven’t really really done any exercise today. The only thing I have done is walk around the house with my ipod (and dance around behind closed doors he he.) I did that for about 15min. All the drinks I have had today, other than the Yoo-Hoo, have been water or diet Pepsi.

Steff69 added an entry about lose weight : I think I’ve been doing quite well. I havent weighed myself in ages, I’m not really focusing on that anymore. I’ve become a little more confident with my body, I’m trying to accept that I’m never gonna be size 0. I’m eating healthily and walking more. Today I binged though :( B- 1/2 bowl cheerios, orange juice S- Fruit scone with butter & jam L- Ham & Coleslaw roll S- Hippo thingy like 80cals D- Crisp sandwhich S- Ice cream, A tiny little minty bar, hotdog, Some doritos. I feel like a big huge whale. I think the weather affects my eating or something lol on rainy days all I wanna do is sit in front of the tv with my feet up and something tasty to eat. Well obviously I need more self disipline. My snacks arent healthy enough the last while. Try harder tomorrow ;]
