Preliatornox added an entry about lose weight : So I was at a softball game today and a friend made a really bad comment about my weight in front of a huge group of people. It cut me bad, especially since I’m not all that fat. I’m over 5’3” and 125 lbs. But now I am definately exercising more. That comment was the last straw. If I didn’t have a tummy, I know he wouldn’t make that comment about me. So, by God, I’m getting rid of this fat! My brother has agreed to teach me army exercising, and I won’t go a day without a good, long hike.

Kayaking Prostate Cancer Survivor To Finish 1,700 Mile Paddle In NYC

While Olympic athletes will begin vying for champion status this weekend in Beijing, Skip Ciccarelli, a 60-year-old survivor of prostate cancer, will complete his own Olympian effort. When he paddles up to New York's Pier 66 at noon on Saturday, he will be completing a 1,700 mile, 54-day kayak trek to raise awareness for prostate cancer--one of the most prevalent forms of cancer, second only to melanomas. The day also marks the seventh anniversary of his prostatectomy.

Steff69 added an entry about lose weight : Just back from hols with my boyfriends family. Ate horribly for a week, I was expecting to come back with tight jeans and a huge tummy. But no!! I can still see my hip bones =] My jeans are still loose-ish. Thats weird considering I lived on pizza, chicken, crisps and wine gums! My boyfriends brothers girlfriend came too. Shes 2 years older than me, 10 stone but looks exactly like me. Its weird, shes got a lovely curvey figure, but OMG she can eat! We were in the car for 1 and a half hours, and she ate 2 packets of wine gums, 1/2 packet of cookies, 2 bags of crisps and a bar of chocolate. I was like WOW ! But I’m a little more comfortable with my body now. Sometimes I just think maybe I’m not suppose to be skinny. My boyfriend doesnt think loosing weight will suit me, becuase I’m big boned or whatever you wanna call it. I’m not giving up, I still wanna loose like 5-10lbs maybe.

sixfootdoll added an entry about lose weight : Okay, so I’ve been out of the gym a steady 2 weeks (with the exception of like 1 day) and I have no idea what I weigh. I really believe I’m still 166-168, but the fact that I haven’t been working out makes my body feel really heavy, lazy and overall fat. When I work out steadily, I feel strong, solid, able. But not now. So today I have to work out and weigh myself. Fun!

sweetnam added an entry about lose weight : i finally reached my goal weight. from 107.5-100lbs i still have a tummy, but that doesn’t matter- i’m proud that i lost weight the healthy way! along with that i lose inches.. lbs: 107.5 >101 waist: 29>26.5 abdomen: 31.5 >29.5 hips: 34.5 >33.5 thigh: 20.5 >19.5 calf: 13.5>13 i’m still going to keep this goal for another while, until i know i’ve maintained it for a good month or so :)

Mike added an entry about lose weight : 163 today. 8 lbs to go in 11 days. This weekend was tough. I had to work late so didn’t find time to work out. On top of that I had 2 sodas when eating out. I did manage to eat mostly light and healthy, though.

Chocolunatic added an entry about lose weight : Day 2 of this mission was not bad. I made a healthier choice when it came to lunch. At dinner I tried to eat half the potions I usually eat, but I think it was more like 75% of what I usually eat. So I have only cut back by 25% :( still not bad for 2nd day.
