FOTOWEIGHTLOSS added an entry about lose weight : Sounds like a lot of people are being hard on themselves. :( EVERYONE messes up now and then. Throughout my weight loss process, I did too. The key is to get back on track immediately and not ruin the rest of the day or week. I’ve lost over 40lbs. and have kept it off over 3 years. Stay positive and honest with yourself and don’t obsess over your “mistakes”. HAVE A FUN AND SAFE FOURTH OF JULY !!! :)

The goal: 25 pounds in 17 weeks

feorag added an entry about lose weight : I can do that. I want to get back to my comfortable weight of 140 pounds. I’m 5’10”. Right now I weigh 165, my clothes are tight, and I feel sluggish. Besides that, I weighed only 150 pounds when I was 9 months pregnant! It just ain’t right to weigh 15 pounds more than you did when you were 9 months pregnant!

tc1980 added an entry about lose weight : Today has been hard…I managed to stay within my calorie limit but I’m still not happy about what I ate. I am going to go for a run soon and eat NOTHING else tonight! B: Apple 75 L: Lean Cuisine 350 S: 2 Ice Cream bars…argh! 220 D: Turkey Sandwich 400 S: 3 Oreos 160 :( =1205…so depressing. I was feeling so in control and then a bad day at work ruins it. I am just feeling so discouraged. I keep thinking…why wasn’t I happy when I was 15 pounds lighter. It feels like it’s so far away and I know that I can do it…it’s just depressing to not be there right now. How did I let it get to this?

I had gained about 42 pounds and still need to lose about 15… must stick to restricting my junk food! i’ve tried buying more healthy food to have around the house and only eating “junk” that is pre-packaged so that i can’t overeat.

foreverHoping added an entry about lose weight : I did go to the mall with my friends, and they all got In and Out Burger. I was prepared for this though, I said I already had dinner at home, so I didn’t want anything, but the food smelled sooooo good, and they were purposely wafting it at me… Bitches… So I ate about 5 fries, took a sip of someones smoothie (Strawberry, my weakness), and ate half of the smallest burger they had, with only cheese. I calculated my entire calories for the day, and it only went up to about 450.

hope228 added an entry about lose weight : lol…ok so im down to 209.2! ahhh it feels unreal, i mean its only been 3 weeks! but i kno some of the weight just wanted to come off! im so happy and now ive got even more motivation.its great some of my cousins are like wow you look thinner, have you been losing weight?....ugh its great and it just makes me wanna try harder and so better! especially the past 3 days ive been helpin my cuz move into their new house and i burned a lot of calories, also ive noticed that i have so much willpower now, before i would give in to one cookie, no i can say no to anything! ok so so far im down 16.2 pounds….

another day, another adventure with the snooze button!

michaelbryne added an entry about lose weight : awww man, it’s just waaaay to hard to get out of bed at 6:30 am, its just so chilly outside and so warm in my bed, but I am determined to make it to the gym in this morning at least once this week! Went this evening though, was a bit of fun, worked through my new exercise program fully for the first time (excluding one exercise I couldnt remember the proper form for) and spent a bit of time on the bikes. All in all though, I feel fantastic, finally doing something positive about my weight and I feel infinitely better for doing so!

Weekends Slow Weight Loss

Saturday can be the worst enemy for our waistlines, according to researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. They found that study subjects on strict diet and exercise programs tend to lose weight more slowly than expected because they eat more on weekends than during the week. The investigators report their findings in the advance online publication of the journal Obesity.

New Study Focuses On Obesity In The Lesbian Community

Obesity is an epidemic, and lesbians are nearly twice as likely to be overweight than heterosexual women. Sarah Fogel, Ph.D., R.N., associate professor of Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, is using an extraordinarily successful, predominately lesbian weight loss group in Atlanta, as a model system for discovering how to target obesity in a lesbian population. Fogel is studying the group, and her findings are giving her a different view on weight loss.
