Spunky_bum added an entry about lose weight : Ok i am now 53kg and still aiming for 50kg for my birthday (june 6).. 4 weeks.. fingers crossed its possible but im not gonna hate myself if i dont get there.. good thing is im on a role and feeling heaps better, like im actually achieving something! when i reach 50kg, that will be huge for me.. i never even thought ide get to 60kg let alone 53kg! i still have a while to go but what i found helped me was to do it kilo by kilo instead of saying i want to lose 10kg.. (by the way i have lost 15kg so far).. so for anyone else who may be having a hard time, break up your weight loss goal into littler bits, trust me, its heaps easier and you dont have so much pressure on yourself..

Day Eight

Lost another pound, but haven’t been hungry at all. Lost another pound over the weekend even though I wasn’t too strict, for a total of six pounds. I know I can reach my end of the school year goal of getting down to 130. The last five will be the hardest so I expect to be down to 125 by the end of summer. DC will be challenging, but Guatemala and Belize should be easy since the fruit is the tastiest thing down there anyway and the food is not very interesting. Only problem no mean greens, just liquados, that’s going to be a problem.

I was on that for a full 20 minutes ( would have been longer, but it was the schools machine, so I had to share ) and my legs started burning like crazy! I hate that the weight has come back but that’s what happens when you become lax in your diet and exercise program…..I’ll learn I guess….it would just be sooooo nice to be one of THOSE people who never have to worry about it…. sigh ....The reality is I am not so I need to get off my fat ass and do something about it! Progress of the soul

Niel added an entry about lose weight : This morning I realized that I am in control of my weight. Although I still have more to lose and I’m not going to mark this as done until I’m there, I am no longer fat and unhappy about it, or fat and accepting it, but overweight and slimming slowly and effectively. This realization is means more to me than all the kilograms I’ve lost. I have not achieved this overnight, but by persisting for more than two years in exercise and paying attention to what I eat. You can do it too!

charlotte1984 added an entry about lose weight : I don’t feel like I’ve lost anything : ( To be fair, I don’t really deserve to have lost anything after my rubbish wkend of eating everything in sight! Just hoping I hvn’t gained. I always reach this plateau a couple of weeks into a diet. I think I am lazy. I find it too easy to come up with an excuse not to exercise. My gym membership changes in price depending on how often I go – the more I go, the less I pay each month. So because of this, I always keep note of how often I’ve been.

impatiently waiting

punkrocknerd13 added an entry about lose weight : i’ve been doing the atkins diet for about 6 days now and it is working. i’ve lost around 3 pounds so far which is good cuz i only want to lose 10-15 pounds. the only problem is i have to eat mostly meat, which i love but it can get old fast. also drinking 8 bottles of water a day is hell. but im burning pure fat now and i see a big difference in my abs so its worth it so far. my advice to everyone is dont give up!
