close_behind added an entry about lose weight : i have exaclty 2 weeks to lose some weight before my boyfriend fiance comes to visit. we are supposed to be going on a week long vacation to the beach and the way i have been feeling lately makes me think i’ll be sitting around my hotel room the whole time. i don’t wan to lose weight the unhealthy way but i want to lose weight and it’s harder than i thought. i have less motivation than i did a couple years ago. i will be going to the gym tomorrow and that means busting my ass. and hopefull i’ll see some type of improvement one day. i am very impatient and this weight needs to come off now.

My god I was sick

wincyspider added an entry about lose weight : Last time this year I was 120 lbs with 16.5% body fat and I thought I was fat! My eating disorder ending up getting out of control and I lost to an emaciated 103 lbs and 4% body fat on my 15 yr old 5’9 body. (I’m lucky I didn’t have to go to hospital.. my parents didn’t even notice my eating disorder) It was disgusting, I had no boobs and my hair started falling out. So something inside me snapped and I began recovery. After two months of serious eating I’m 125 lbs. And I can fit into a 32A cup again. I know, it’s sad but during my ED I could barely fit a training bra! I’m really liking my new body. My goal is 17% body fat, to regain menstruation and to reach 135 lbs.

lostdusk added an entry about lose weight : Going to my nans today. Most likely pie for lunch. Annoys me, because she doesn’t even eat the pie, just gives it to the rest of us. But, I always pass up on dessert when we go. however, because it is her birthday soon, we made her a cake. and I bet she offers it around. however yummy the carrot cake may smell or look, I am going to say no. Although, one thing that annoys me about my nan is the fact when ever I pass on something like chocolate, she always asks me how I ‘can be so good’.

Malificent added an entry about lose weight : Third week weigh in: Lost either 1 or 2 pounds – the scales kept flicking between the two! Annoying! I don’t know what else I can do. I kept to 1200 cals a day, and over the whole week, was even about -750 cals UNDER that from doing extra exercise – and worst case scenario I’ve only lost a pound :S This is what I was afraid of, cause I don’t have that much to lose to reach my goal. But also, I am still losing, and the scales definitely said lower than last week, so actually I’m going to be happy about it, and hope that next week I will have lost half a stone altogether and be my lowest weight I can properly remember being :)

I am beginning to think this goal is not worthwhile.

Peter Pullar added an entry about Lose weight : If I focus on what I want (lose the weight of the extra fat on my body) I may be creating more of it. Using weight as a measure of my progress is for me very discouraging. I am fairly muscular, and I want to lose fat, not lose muscle. Focusing on losing weight I tend to under-eat, thus reducing the ability of my muscles to recover after intense workout. For now I will put aside this goal and focus on my 10% bodyfat goal

Samantha added an entry about lose weight : Wow, I have not been on this website in FOREVER ! I’m just so busy now that I never have any time. But, there is good news! I’m down to 130! yay! I’m looking really good. I went out to buy new pants for my new job, and now I’m a size 7. (I was a size 11). So I’m really excited. :] I think just a few more pounds (between 5-10) and I’ll have completed this goal. =] Good Luck everyone!

maryannatwork added an entry about lose weight : My new job site has no elevators. The stairs were hard at first and I admit to still being a bit winded at the top, but it’s not obvious. I’m wearing clothes from 2001. (Yes, I never throw anything away.) Minimum number of flights on a slow day: 8. If I eat lunch out: 10.

Still at a halt

LiLmissSunshine added an entry about lose weight : So the weight loss is still at a stand still, but I am still doing good on my working out. I went to he park again and walked/jogged. I’m getting better every day. I run through the woods and alternate directions every day, so I get different hills and such. I’ve been running the downhills. Today I decided to push myself a little bit harder, and I ran an uphill. It really worked my legs a lot harder. I’ll probably work on running different hills throughout the park on different days, and then eventually try connecting the points or running multiple hills. Tomorrow I’m going to give myself a day off from running, as it is not my favorite form of exercise (hoping to eventually love it once I improve at it.) and I am going to walk the park with my pups and workout my arms and abs (which are still sore from Thursday!!)The weight loss thing may not be coming, but the workouts are improving! Maybe the weight loss will soon follow!! I think the lower half needs the most work, so maybe the running will help!!

Day 33

minxycat added an entry about lose weight : B: shredded wheat, milk L: coleslaw, whole wheat tortilla and beans S: orange, cherries, cantelope D: salad, beans, rice, crackers I felt a little guilty and anxious after last night’s controlled splurge. My fear was that I wouldn’t go back on the plan and my eating would be out control. Well, it turns out I had nothing to worry about. First of all my weight this AM was at its lowest yet, 134, even after the controlled splurge. YEA !!!! AND I ’m back on the plan big time as determined as ever. By June 13 I’ll be at 130-no problem.
