I’m proud of myself because I had to eat out for breakfast and lunch and I stuck to my diet. No cheese on the omelet, and very little sauce on the chinese veggies. At negotiations the district provided lots of treats. Gorgeous, giant, dark chocolate cookies, dove chocolates, on and on. I was so good, I had fresh raspberries and strawberries. Later at Bible study I had just one tiny piece of cheese and 2 crackers.

0EvaRose0 added an entry about lose weight : I am feeling totally motivated right now! I know I can do this, and I am not going to give up until I reach my goal. I’ve been super busy lately at work, so I havent been able to keep up that well with posting on here. I also went off track there for a couple days, binging on a bunch of crap. However, the healthy eating went well today, and I went for a nice walk. Ill post my weight tomorrow…I am not expecting any loss, but Im staying postive!
close_behind added an entry about lose weight : this goal is so hard. i don’t know how i’m getting through it. i don’t really have anyone to work out with. well i did until she started dating a friend of mine. with eric not around it’s even worse. it sucks being in a long distance relationship and not having the motivation to get through it. i was on the south beach diet for a couple weeks but then i slowly fell off the wagon. so now i don’t know what to do. i’m so confused. i get on the wagon and somehow i get back off just as quickly as i got on. i’m the type of person taht needs someone to give me a swift kick in the ass. i would get a personal trainer but i don’t have that kind of money at the moment. i want to go back to working out 5 days a week and having that slim body with not an ounce of fat on me. i know i have to work really hard to get there but i’m impatient. i don’t like to wait for things like that. back then i did because i was more in shape but now i’m in my hole and i don’t feel like coming out anytime soon. i passed up the gym twice this week already and i can’t do it again. i just don’t know if i can do this all over again.

Gluttony: the act or practice of eating and drinking to excess. Photo Credit: Navin75 Baseball season is here and so is the practice of stadium gluttony. "Take me out to the ball game" has become "take me out to 3 hours of non-stop eating and snacking." There are all sorts of high calorie-low nutrient foods tempting you at every turn...fried foods, snack foods, frozen desserts, high fat meats, refined breads. It's a spectator sport, that's true. But I find it ironic that some of the people sitting in the stands are almost constantly eating and drinking while they watch the players on the field who are exercising like crazy.
