Healthful, whole grain , and cheap! We all know that the microwave popping corn that comes in those convenient bags can be super high in fat and sodium, depending on the type you buy. The label on a box of Orville Redenbacher's Butter Microwave Popping Corn says that 2 tablespoons of unpopped corn equals a serving so that's what we will use for comparison. Here's the difference nutritionally... 2 tablespoons (unpopped) of Orville Redenbacher's Butter Microwave Popcorn contains:
For years, hopeful dieters have been counting shopping as a form of exercise. And now, a new fitness trend sweeping the US and UK seems to be offering some justification: it's been dubbed "mallercise"....
We're all becoming more conscious not only of the nutrients in our food, but of the wider environmental factors involved in what we eat. Concepts like "food miles", "organic", "sustainable" and "locally produced" are often on our minds. But just how far would you go? In Britain, we've come up with a novel way to deal with the long-standing...
lostdusk added an entry about lose weight : I should exercise…but I can’t be arsed! That said, usually I have friday as my day off, so I could just use the step machine for 20 minutes and be done with it! I have a paper round tomorrow, so that’ll count. I’m considering getting another one, because the one I do now is only once a month. It’ll be getting paid to exercise! In another forum I go to, it saddens me somewhat to see young girls saying they will do anything, no matter how much it harms their body, to get thin.

LiLmissSunshine added an entry about lose weight : SW-138.2 CW-135 GW-120 (Day 5—> Starting AGAIN , but this time I’m not 172lbs !!) I made it to the park again with my pups today. It was about 45 minutes of walking. I’m getting more consistent! Gotta keep it up! I’ve only eaten out once this week, and that’s because my fiance had it preplanned. My best friend joined a gym today and now has a personal trainer. I can’t afford to join a gym or get a personal trainer (even if it comes with the membership). She’s a beautiful girl, and it’s not that I don’t want her to look and feel good (and please don’t take this wrong), but I want to look better. I want to feel confident around her, not insecure, esp. if she’s going to be my maid of honor in my wedding. I don’t ever remember a maid of honor outshining the bride, but sometimes I can be very insecure. I’m looking at her joining the gym as my little extra push and motivation. While she loses weight, I’m going to as well. In addition, I’m going to work on getting myself a cute little stomach and a cute well defined body so that I look darned good in a wedding dress and a bathing suit!! GW here we come!!!
