Finally!

sharkiechik added an entry about lose weight : So I’m taking summer classes and the dorm I’m staying at in college, isn’t really far away from the recreation center. So I’m going to try to go to the pool AT LEAST 3 times a week and exercise. I’m going to swim! And I’m going to eat healthy! I just discovered that my tastes in food has been maturing and changing. I tried a RAW carrot with ranch dressing the other day and it was actually good! So I’m going to start to eat healthier now that I actually can!

lostdusk added an entry about lose weight : I do wish my mother would relate to my wanting to eat healthy. the meals she cooks are generally fine, but she insists on doing a roast on a sunday and it brings out many arguments between us. Then there’s the fact she gets angry when I don’t eat the dessert she made, but instead eating yoghurt and fruit. I actually think I have deeper issues with food than meets the eye, but at the moment they are bubbling well below the surface only breaking it very very occassionaly. So I am not going to be concerned yet.

Malificent added an entry about lose weight : At the end of today I will have successfully been on this diet for 3 days. I’m planning to eat around 1400 calories a day with 200 calories exercise to lose about 1.5lbs a week, which I’ve been told is sensible (I don’t wanna put it back on afterwards!) I’ve also been told that the first few days of any new routine are the hardest so I’m feeling good about this start :) Bit worried about the coming working week though, I reckon that will make it harder to stick to this and as some nights I stay away from home to avoid the daily commute I won’t be able to control what I eat/exercise so easily :(
