momof2sons added an entry about lose weight : I weighed 105 pounds when I graduated high school 15 years ago. Now I weigh 250 pounds. I was ok with the way I look. I mean, I dress nice, I don’t look like a stereotypical fat person. But I get tired a lot. I’m on blood pressure meds. My knees are starting to hurt and I’m only 33. I’m scared of diabetes. I don’t want to take insulin. I went home for my high school reunion back in June and I know people were happy to see me, but then after asking about my family and my job and etc, the topic turned to my weight. “You never looked like that in school!” I laughed it off and said, “Well, I have a husband and 2 kids so that’s where the weight came from.” The most embarrassing part of the whole weekend was when an old teacher patted my stomach and wished me congrats on my pregnancy. She then asked when the baby was due. I gave birth in March, 3 months before the reunion.

Preliatornox added an entry about lose weight : I am loosing a bit of weight(7 lbs!) but I fear I will gain it back now that I’m home from vacation. My two biggest issues are feeling hungry and having a slow metabolism. I’m starting to exercise more to build muscle(which burns more calories and speeds up my metabolism) but I am slwly getting on the bandwagon. I’m being a wimp, really. As for eating, I always eat more than my necessary intake of food because I keep getting the munchies. I don’t drink pop or coffee, don’t like candy, and generally eat healthy. It’s just that I eat a lot. I don’t know how I can curb the hunger and eat smaller portions.

Lose weight.

Kristina Butts added an entry about lose weight : Not a “must do” goal, but after I became a vegetarian I lost a lot of weight unintentionally, which was great… but now I’m stuck. And it’s frustrating, haha. So we’ll see how this goes. Being at college and walking around campus all of the time is bound to pay off eventually.
