juicebox88 added an entry about lose weight : I haven’t written in a while. and I gained some weight =( But that’s okay, because summer is finally here! I’m going to exercise first thing in the morning and at night, I am NOT going to count calories, and I will try vegan again. I watched a PETA video, definately changed my mind. But back to the topic, I’m going to get healthier. And one of my goals, eat 100 apples over the summer =), will also be good because I can snack on apples and fruit and vegetables. I ordered a really cute shirt, so I want to be able to look cute in it :) Annnddddd the zoo =D just built a water park, so I totally want to go there (I know, I’m a loser =) in my bathing suit. Well, gots to go. Later.

An analysis of 12 recent studies indicate that there is virtually no link between the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and weight gain in children and teens. The meta-analysis is published in the June issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Moderate Fitness Lowers Risk Of Death For Normal Weight Or Obese Men With Type 2 Diabetes

Being even moderately physically fit lowers a diabetic man's risk of death, regardless of his weight, according to a new study. Results will be presented at The Endocrine Society's 90th Annual Meeting in San Francisco.The study found that for men with type 2 diabetes, moderate fitness levels reduced the risk of dying of any cause during an average follow-up period of seven years by 40 to 50 percent, even if they were overweight or obese.

Overweight Does Not Decrease Sperm Production

Overweight men are not more likely to be infertile, as past research has shown to be true in obese women, according to a new study. The results will be presented at The Endocrine Society's 90th Annual Meeting in San Francisco.Findings of the study, performed in New York in nearly 300 very overweight men, were unexpected, said coauthor Nanette Santoro, MD, an Albert Einstein College of Medicine obstetrician-gynecologist who is trained in reproductive endocrinology.

Purchasing Behavior Influenced By Calorie Information At Point Of Purchase

Researchers examined the effect that displaying calorie information at fast-food chains has on its customers. A total of 7,318 customers were surveyed from 275 randomly selected restaurants of 11 fast food chains within New York City. The results found that patrons purchased an average of 827 calories. Only 4 percent of patrons reported even seeing calorie information provided at the site, with the exception of Subway.

I can’t just up and start running like I used to since I’m overweight and getting over a leg injury … but I can make it my long-term goal, and slowly do what I need to do to get there (rehab, diet, etc).

lubdanikins added an entry about lose weight : a main problem for me is that ive finished uni now so theres no structure to my day and that means i generally get up at lunchtime. not good. i need to get back into a routine and havng set times for mealtimes. i need to get a job as well. sent off my cv’s today, but reckon it’ll be another week or two at the earliest didnt eat too bad today. my mum told me off for eating all the fruit and veg. oops!!

Last three days were bad

gayatri1 added an entry about lose weight : Last three days,I was bad.I had a friend visiting us for three days and anyone can impagine its effects on my dieting and exercise.I tried to control my eating but here in US there is not much options for vegetarians if we dont eat rice and cheese.Or perhaps I went to the wrong places. I am not sure how it has affected my weight.I am sure I have gained.I can feel it.I sometime feel that I am not destined to lose weight.Here I go again.Let it be.I am not going to beat myself .If I have fallen,I will rise,shake off my dust and start walking again.This is not a sprint,its a marathon and I have a long way to go.

This is what my week usually looks like: Monday: Dance class at night Tuesday: Work in the morning from 9-2 Wednesday: Work from 9am-9pm Thursday: If I don’t have work, I rent a studio and dance, or work out in some way Friday: Training from 8:30pm -1 or 2 am Saturday and Sunday I generally don’t work out.

Today.

Steff69 added an entry about lose weight : I’m gonna start using my food journal again tomorrow. I havent used it in absolute ages. Today was ok until the evening :( I didnt get to the gym, but I did do 1.5mile walk. My boyfriend said he would take me to the gym to do a circit if we have time tomorrow. I also scrapped the smoothie idea, but from tomorrow I’m gonna try the cereal diet which is supposed to be good. A bowl in the morning and a normal lunch and a bowl of cereal again in the evening.
