Got a Promotion at Work! :D

0EvaRose0 added an entry about lose weight : I just got promoted to supervisor at my work (got a $1.50 raise!), so I’ve been busy with the training schedule lately. Soo I havent actually had the time to start my jogging goal, but I think its best that I wait anyways. I want to get a proper pair of running shoes and a good sports bra before I really get into it. I am going to go to an athelic store tomorrow though!! I have been going on brisk walks these last few days, and I just bought a new workout video that is for weight-lifting with free weights, so I am excited to try that out tomorrow. My eating has improved significantly since I began a food journal a couple days ago. I am also getting better at organizing my meals ahead of time, which is a huge thing for me! lol Anyway, I’ve put on 1.5 lbs since my last post, which is no biggie in my opinion because I havent been that focused on this…but I will get right back on track so that it doesnt happen again at my next weigh-in. I am gonna weigh in every friday and tuesday…so Tomorrow is weigh-in day! :D

So have lost over half a stone altogether (just) and 1.75lbs on last week. I can even tick off my ‘weigh 135lbs’ goal now! Not long till the weekend, happy dieting! ; ) xxx

The best way to judge the best deal with chicken is to consider the price per pound instead of the cost per chicken breast because some chicken breasts are bigger or smaller than others. Two small chicken breasts can weigh the same as one extra large chicken breast. In my neighborhood grocery store the "value pack" of boneless, skinless chicken breasts is $3.49 per pound while a package of "boneless, skinless Breast Fillets" will run you $6.49 per pound.

Half Way There

DilettanteG added an entry about Lose Weight : Two and a half pounds down, and as many more to go. It’s taken me 18 days, or about 2 1/2 weeks so I’m on schedule. My mare foaled on Monday so I’ve had lots of exercise keeping mom and baby comfortable and chasing the little one around. Today, I have to get her first fly mask on her, wish me luck. I’ve decided to eliminate rather than just reduce my meals of fast food. It’s easier than I thought. With the gorgeous summer fruits and the usual packaged salads I’m eating plenty of produce. My sweet tooth continues to be a problem, so I need to come up with some long term alternatives. Here’s hoping it’s not just water weight loss.

I am going to continue to keep up with my food journal because it seems to be helping me. There is a long weekend (which starts today) in Canada, so I must stay strong and keep away from the beer and crap food lol Anyway, I need to get off the computer because I have a lot of stuff I need to get done today, including exercising and going to the athletics store. xxmischaxx added an entry about lose weight : this week started off okay but ive had exams (they dont finish till june 3rd =/ ) and the rest has gone down hill as ive been busy revising and not really concentrating on weight loss well tomorow is weigh day so we will find out cant wait till exams are over…. x Had around 900 cals today so far so got 300 cals left for supper.
