Although behavioral studies clearly indicate that exposure to drugs, alcohol and tobacco in utero is bad for a baby's developing brain, specific anatomic brain effects have been hard to tease out in humans. Often users don't limit themselves to one substance, and demographic factors like poverty can also influence brain development.

beepbeeplove added an entry about lose weight : hmmm bit of a realisation. ive been eating roughly the same for a while, and floating around the same weight. so im not doing something right. i think i need to do more exercise, and less muscle building things. i build muscle really easily, so i dont really need to do weights like i do now. i get enough tone from taekwondo anyway. so :) i was thinking id get some pilates-esque moves from my gym, and do them for half an hour in the morning. then after school go to the gym and do 45-60 mins of cardio. i really need to do the cardio, because im doing a taekwondo grading in june and its really exhausting lol. and ive started counting calories again, because ive been worried i havent been having enough. but i getting obsessed again. i should stop.
santoriniplease added an entry about lose weight : i tried to cut back because the weekend was so bad. so yesterday i ate: -bowl of oatmeal -sugar-free cheesecake pudding -small slice of cornbread with honey & butter -bowl of cereal i didn’t drink nearly enough water and over the weekend i really did eat bad: french fries, candy, chips, pizza, sugar cookies, pancakes, hashbrowns. the upside is i was pretty active the whole weekend. anyway, every day is a new day. i hope i eat ok when i go out of town-i feel like that’s always the hardest to do because you have to go out to eat and then make yourself just choose healthy foods. and i’m not going to be able to really work out…just be in meetings and in an office. we’ll see how i do! it will be a challenge and it will be for 4 days (including today). i hope i do ok…

Some people like making rice or noodles from a box. That's just the way it is. Whenever my husband has dinner duty (not often) he always ends up using one of those boxes! I try not to complain or let him see the apprehension in my eyes. Tonight he was actually rather proud of his rice dish claiming that it was whole grain. So afterwards, when he was safely on the other end of the house, I checked out the box of Rice-A-Roni Whole Grain Blends Roasted Garlic Italiano.
