Dieting should be fun
prncssdi52 added an entry about lose weight : So it’s been a week since I’ve posted and weighed in. Unfortunately, the scale is not my friend right now. Last week I was 149.5 pounds. I have eaten healthy all week (minus pizza and a couple drinks on Saturday night…oops!) On Monday I did an hour of cardio, on Tuesday I did an hour of weight training and an hour of cardio (The dance class Zumba…AMAZING!! It’s like Latin dancing so it’s super fun but it really gets the heart rate up!), on Wednesday I did an hour of cardio, and today I did an hour of weight training and played in a softball game after work. I thought I did very well, but it seems that I actually gained weight this week! I am officially 151 pounds now. I’m hoping that I’m gaining muscle mass or something so I don’t feel as bad…but obviously I have to do something different. I must admit, I am VERY disappointed =(
deepgreen7 added an entry about lose weight : Today, I made a conscious effort to avoid excessive calories. We were taken to lunch and at the end, I declined the dessert menu. It’s so hard for me to say no to free food, since I’m a poor student. But it wasn’t that bad sitting there watching the others enjoy their cakes/tortes. I didn’t even take a bite. I think eliminating sweets from my daily consumption will jump start my weight loss. My goal: lose 5 lbs by the end of May.
Hayley Wood added an entry about lose weight : FLUCKK dude, i seriously know i didnt over eat today. Because all i had was -One egg and a piece of toast. No butter. And for lunch. -A turkey sandwich with a slice of cheese. (we are out of tomatoes and lettuce) -Top ramon. Which isnt all that fattening but still.
Rhianna91 added an entry about Lose weight : Starting another diet, i know ppl i said last time was gonna be it, i said i was gonna lose weight, but i lost motivation coz its too hard to eat healthy, exercise and do well in school, plus get enough sleep to be able to all these tasks. But i’ve come to the realisation that if i dont start and lose weight now, i’ll keep gaining and will find it harder to shift the weight, plus with my family’s medical history i need to be healthy so im not at risk.

This is for all the Diet Blog readers who've been subscribed for a while because they keep meaning to get round to starting that diet. All the readers with the site bookmarked because they had great resolutions on January 1st ... but who somehow, have lost motivation. And all the people who've landed here after desperately searching the net...

You can't watch 30 minutes of television without seeing Valerie Bertinelli talking about her love affair with the Jenny Craig program. Every decade there's a new version of the high protein low carb diet. And the Weight Watchers program keeps expanding and reinventing their members' options. Well, a new study was just published from the University of Massachusetts and the Stanford Prevention Research Center that looked at which dieting strategy ( Atkins , Ornish or Zone ) had the most weight loss success over 12 months in 181 women considered overweight/obese.
lostdusk added an entry about lose weight : I gots a paper round tommorow, so although my legs still are not up to much, that should burn a few calories. I’m going to have a light breakfast and lunch. I’ve decided, after a little reasearch, that I’d be best of getting the pizza form the italian restaurant, the fhungi one, which although will still have lots of calories ect in it, it wn’t be as bad as something like pasta carbonara. Or maybe I’ll get spagetti bolongnaise. Hmm…i recall reading those two are the best things to get.
Spunky_bum added an entry about lose weight : yay!! its about time i got my ass into gear and lost something.. so now i am 54kg.. wanting to get to 50kg and see how i feel.. would be so much easier if you could pick where you wanted fat to be removed from (besides lipo).. haha Even though its only 1 kg, it feels really good, just knowing i am a kilo closer to my goal weight! xx
missmorgan389 added an entry about lose weight : All I’ve felt like doing lately is eating! It may be because my period is coming, but dammit, it better be! Since all this activity is happening to me, I haven’t gotten it in a good couple of months. I saw the doctor about it once and it’s because of all the activity I do. There’s no time to be a woman! So yeah, whilst I eat most of the junk in my cupboard, next week is weighin which means either a) hell b) paradise. The scale never lies and I can only bet that I haven’t been doing so great.
Steff69 added an entry about lose weight : the last 2 – 3 days I’ve gotten a bit more serious I think so hopefully I’ll be pretty determined now… Today: 1 – Cheerios w/ skimmed milk, banana, orange juice. 1 slice of fruit soda bread. 30 sit ups, 15 squats, 15 jumping jacks 2 – Corn on the cob, bowl chicken soup, water. 100 step ups, 30 sit ups, 20 jumping jacks 3 – Cup coffee, 2 boiled eggs, 2 x toast. 300 step ups, 120 jumping jacks, 40 lunges, 30 squats, 60 sit ups, ran stairs x 20 4 – Some apple & grapes, a kinder cream bar 100cals i think, 2 x crab sticks. 30 sit ups, 20 jumping jacks 5 – a carrot.

Piperlite added an entry about lose weight : I’ve been pretty positive about my body image today. I have been drinking mostly water for a very long time now and the water weight does not bother me so much now. The only thing I fear is that my boyfriend will hate the way I look. We haven’t seen each other for two months now, and I am not the same size as when I left. I know there is no way I can loose 15 pounds in four days though. At least not a healthy way.
Kirs10 added an entry about lose weight : I had a big formal end of the year dinner last night and was surprised by my will power. I only had a bite of bread, some chicken, ate alllll my green beans, no rice, and only a bite of cheesecake!!! Even So, I was thinking I’d gain this morning because I’ve been gaining weight when I eat well, so why wouldn’t I gain from eating “less than well?” But I actually lost a pound and a half. Buuuut I’m still in my plateau. This is so frustrating. I went to the gym for an hour and a half of cardio/weight lifting/situps. AND I went bike riding. AND I went shopping. AND I ’m playing broomball tonight (Hockey with brooms on the ice…) so I’ll get lots of exercise! Let’s hope it pays off.
