Heather added an entry about lose weight : Today was bad. I ate a lot of spaghetti. I had it for breakfast and lunch. Then we had Chinese for dinner. No exercise except walking up 3 flights of stairs. Which only burns 4 calories.
upgradem08 added an entry about lose weight : okay so this is my first day back from my major two week slump. it went pretty good. so far (as of 9:30) i’m sticking to my calorie range for the day. I went to Spin even though i didn’t feel like it. and I resisted the urge to eat a huge helping of strawberry shortcake with tons of whip cream and wash it down with a pop. but there are still several hours before I go to bed and i’m hanging on to this thin thread of motivation… :) good luck everyone!
santoriniplease added an entry about lose weight : today was kind of bad: -coffee -half tuna sandwich on whole wheat -small bowl of chili -another half tuna sandwich on whole wheat -small bowl of broccoli cheese brown rice -1/4 bagel w/ cream cheese -couple of sweet potato chips -a smore’s (graham cracker, marshmallow & chocolate) no exercise. i have got to incorporate the exercise again. gotta find that motivation because i know even if i just drop pounds that doesn’t equal a fit body. i want to be toned for the summer. anyway, i am going to call it a night and get some sleep, need it if i am going to workout tomorrow! :D

khaosinkinema added an entry about lose weight : Here I am starting it all over again. Because of the fact I was quite lazy and ate like there was no tomorrow, I gained weight again. My new diet starts today, and I am looking forward to it, to having more energy, to not wanting to sleep all the time, and so on. I will eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and I am looking forward to eating salad more often again (every meal should be accompanied by salad). So I used the balance this morning. My weight to start with is 87.5 kilos (I am about 5’3” tall :( ...). Phew. I also got a weight loss ticker to see what my progress will be like. And I think I will post more often now concerning this goal (that’s a promise!! Or a threat maybe?? (grin)).
Both short and long sleeping times predict an increased risk of future body weight and fat gain in adults, according to a study published in the April 1 issue of the journal SLEEP. The study, authored by Jean-Philippe Chaput, of Laval University in Quebec, Canada, focused on 276 adults between 21-64 years of age, whose body composition measurements and self-reported sleep duration were determined.
Research has shown that "women find it harder than men to keep in shape as they get older," the Daily Mail reports. It says that women should eat lots of protein to try to compensate for the muscle that they lose during the aging process. Older men, however, have no problems in converting the protein that they eat into muscle. The report is based on an experiment carried out in 29 elderly people.

hananathebanana added an entry about lose weight : so i kind of failed again we’ve got Canadian people over for a week and so we had a traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner, and i ate a wee bit too much. my trouble is that i don’t exercise enough. i also lack will power. i shall keep working in this. any tips on stopping a rumbling tummy, other than eating? I always get a rumbly tumbly during lessons and it’s so embarrassing! =]

No estoy aun en una vida perfecta, pero por salud y por gustarme más a mà misma quiero perder peso. De momento no tengo la oportunidad para volver a hacer deporte, pero voy a empezar a comer menos y mejor, ya pesarme por lo menos una vez al mes.
